Business Owner

Owners David and Shirlé Koslowski have been involved in the Baltimore music scene for a number of years, starting with the city's post-punk heyday of the early 90's, performing in bands like Liquor Bike, WOD (Womyn of Destruction), Gerty and currently with Vivid Low Sky.

They've been keeping up their chops in other ways as well. Shirlé is also the owner of Four Corners Cuisine, a personal chef service for 20 years and has served everyone from Ravens football players to doing food styling for House of Cards.  In the meantime, David's built up a successful career as a designer--when he's not scouring the crates for vinyl treasures.

The couple has had this dream for about 20 years now, to open a cool and comfortable space where their community could get together for smart conversations about music, records, and well, life, while enjoying a great cup of coffee and a delicious meal. Now that dream is Baby's On Fire.
